HOUSE SPARROW THE DISAPPEARING BIRD


INTRODUCTION:

House sparrows are very familiar neighboring birds which we 

can see hanging and singing around our houses, It’s a very 

wary and alert birds, Males are more attractive than females 

having grey crown black around eyes neck and chin and breast 

and brownish color, where as females are less attractive having 

ashy grey with brown above and ashy white below.




They gather from a small group to large groups, their nesting and feedings are around habitations also sometimes take rest on thick bushes.
                                             




Food they eat are grains, fruits, insects, flower nectars and kitchen scraps etc. for its babies they feed insects and worms etc.
Their voice is chirping notes while at the time of breeding males make  tri.tri.tri sound. They lay around 3 to 5 eggs coloured in pale greyish white stippled and blotched brown.

The main reason I put my title as “HOUSE SPARROW THE DISAPPEARING BIRD” is to bring it in to your notice that these small creatures are decreasing in numbers due to the things done by us Humans.
